Over the years I’ve noticed that some of the most meaningful insights about life don’t show up as neat conclusions. They tend to appear in small moments like in a conversation, while traveling, during a quiet pause when suddenly something becomes clearer than it was before.
In research and field work, “field notes” are simply observations. They aren’t meant to be perfect or final. They’re a place to record what is being noticed, what questions are emerging, and what patterns begin to reveal themselves over time.
That’s the spirit of this space.
These Field Notes are a place for reflections on curiosity, growth, and the kinds of questions that shape the way we understand ourselves and the world around us. Some may come from coaching conversations, some from travel or study, and some simply from the ordinary process of paying attention to life.
I don’t expect these notes to provide answers. If anything, they’re a way of staying close to the kinds of questions that help us see more clearly.
If something here resonates with you, I hope it invites a moment of curiosity about your own experiences, your own patterns, and the direction your life might be quietly unfolding toward.
With gratitude,
Megan
